We are into autumn now, and things are getting a little cooler.  Latest news is  that we have some new family members which are proving a lot of fun. Shayla our new dog, and ET, a heritage horse that can trace his history back to the Charge at Beersheba....

Test flying the Fokker triplane has been completed and 'Little Tony' made its public debut at this years Air & Land Spectacular, a military re-enactment of Australia's significant military engagements, from the Boer War to Viet Nam.  The weekend was a great success, with perfect weather, good crowd and plenty of action....See the short video below

This summer has been the hottest in the 5 years we have been in Qld. and we are looking forward to the nice sunny winter. Chris and I, along with some friends, flew up to Fraser Island and landed at Orchard Beach, spending a long weekend cruising the famous beaches and sand tracks on the northern end of the island. The tail end of a monsoon made it difficult to fly off the island, and we got as far as Hervey Bay, then Maryborough before we hired a car to drive home, retuning a week later to pick the aircraft up.
